The Angry Birds on the video above were crafted by Nicolas. He and Jason went to Michaels to buy the wood balls and the paints. He located his Melissa and Doug wooden castle pieces and he put the challenge together. My boy always uses his own hand crafted toys combined with what he already has to bring the electronic games out of the computer and out into his own reality.

  STOCKING STUFFER
Nicolas bolted out of bed very early after having a restless night of tossing and turning. The poor lad couldn't fall asleep out of excitement. When morning finally came -Jason and I were both exhausted and still asleep- he run to his stocking and Jamie's our sparrow. In there he found the Mercedes Benz he was hoping for, a Targus optical mini-mouse with a retractable cord, a LEGO mini figure package carrier, a pack of sharpies, a pencil sharpener, a pack of his favorite gum.
