This little guy was spotted wondering in the middle of the night on the road in front of our house. It was very late and with the roaming cats and predators, Jason decided to bring him inside for the night. it is a fledgling blue jay, quite large for a baby bird. We placed him in a nice cozy warm basket and prayed it would survive the night. The next morning Jason took him. to a tree near the pool area where is bushy and away from the roads, and soon enough mom, dad, and the siblings started feeding him at the base of the tree.
